Apple Pie Roll Ups are a delightful and convenient twist on the classic apple pie. These individual treats feature flaky pastry dough filled with sweet and cinnamon-spiced apples, rolled up and baked to golden perfection. Ingredients:
- 4 slices of bread
- 1/2 apple (medium size)
- 1/4 cup Sugar
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Flatten slices of bread with rolling pin,
- In a small saucepan melt the butter. In another small bowl combine sugar and cinnamon to make the cinnamon sugar.
- Peel the apple and cut into small pieces, sprinkle with a bit of cinnamon sugar.
- Divide the apple between the slices of bread.
- Roll it up tightly, roll through the butter and then cinnamon sugar.
- Place them on a baking sheet and bake for about 15 minutes.
- Serve warm and with whatever you like
