Baked Maple and Cinnamon Pears

Ingredients:

  • 2 ripe (but not overripe) pears
  • 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • Dash of cinnamon

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Cut pears in half. Slice a sliver off the underside so that they lay flat. Use a spoon to scoop out the seeds.
  4. Place on the baking sheet and drizzle each with about ½ teaspoon of maple syrup. Sprinkle with a dash of cinnamon.
  5. Bake for about 25 minutes or until soft and lightly browned on the edges.
