Best Seared Scallops are a simple yet luxurious seafood dish that highlights the natural sweetness and delicate texture of fresh scallops. The key to achieving perfectly seared scallops lies in getting the pan hot enough to create a golden-brown crust on the outside while keeping the inside tender and juicy. Seasoned lightly with salt and pepper, the scallops are seared in a hot skillet with butter until they form a rich, caramelized exterior. Paired with a squeeze of fresh lemon or a drizzle of herbed butter, these seared scallops make for a quick, elegant appetizer or main course that’s perfect for any special occasion or a weeknight treat.
