Blitva with Potatoes and Garlic

Serving Size: Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 500g Swiss chard, cleaned and chopped
  • 300g potatoes, peeled and diced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lemon

Directions:

  1. Boil the diced potatoes in salted water until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the chopped Swiss chard to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the cooked potatoes and season with salt and black pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  5. Remove from heat and drizzle with lemon juice before serving.
