Difficulty: EASY
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Total Time: 30 minutes
Serving Size: 4 servings
Ingredients:
- 4 Slices of your favorite bread
- 4 Eggs
- Butter
- Deli Ham Sliced, about 4-6 slices
- 1/2 Cup Shredded Cheese of your choice
- Salt and Pepper
Directions:
- Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.
- Make a pit in the center of the bread by pressing it using a wooden spoon. I find this extremely better than using a metal one since the bread does not adhere to it.
- Butter up the edges of the bread using your favorite butter and don't be shy with smothering it.
- Once the butter smothering has been done, transfer the slices on to your baking sheet and assemble some deli strips nice and pretty. Don't be shy to add more if you like.
- Crack an egg open right onto the pit and season with salt and pepper.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese all over the buttered edges of the slice. And yeah see? Told you not to be shy to add more strips.
- Bake these fancy-pants for 20 minutes and you got yourself a quick and fancy breakfast toast that'll sure to impress anybody! And of course, customize your toast to your liking.
