Cheesy Pesto Chicken Sliders are a delicious and easy-to-make appetizer or main course. They are made with juicy chicken, flavorful pesto, and melted cheese, all served on slider buns. These sliders are perfect for parties, potlucks, or any occasion where you want a tasty and crowd-pleasing dish.

Cheesy Pesto Chicken Sliders

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of Hawaiian dinner rolls
  • 2 cups chopped rotisserie chicken or shredded chicken
  • 3 ounces prepared pesto
  • 6 slices Mozzarella or Havarti cheese
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cut a tray of Hawaiian rolls or dinner rolls in half horizontally.
  2. Spray a glass dish and put the bottom half of the rolls in.
  3. Spread the pesto out over the bottom half of the rolls.
  4. Add chopped chicken on top of the pesto. Add sliced mozzarella or Havarti cheese.
  5. Place the top of the rolls on top.
  6. Melt the butter and mix in garlic powder and dried basil.
  7. Pour this over the top of the rolls and brush it over the rolls to spread out evenly.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 10 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes.
