Ingredients:
- 1 stick of Butter Flavor Crisco
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 cups chocolate chips, semi sweet or milk chocolate
Directions:
- In a stand mixer using the paddle attachment on medium speed cream together the crisco, sugar and the cocoa powder until light and fluffy.
- Add in the eggs one at a time mixing well after each one add in the vanilla.
- In a medium size bowl combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
- With the mixer on low speed gradually add the flour mixture to the chocolate mixture, add in the chocolate chips and mix till combined.
- Using a 2oz scooper drop dough on a cookie sheet keeping at least 2 inches apart.
- Place cookie sheets in the fridge for at least an hour.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees, bake cookies for 10-15 minutes.
- Let Cool.
