Chewy Chocolatey Chip Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 stick of Butter Flavor Crisco
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups chocolate chips, semi sweet or milk chocolate

Directions:

  1. In a stand mixer using the paddle attachment on medium speed cream together the crisco, sugar and the cocoa powder until light and fluffy.
  2. Add in the eggs one at a time mixing well after each one add in the vanilla.
  3. In a medium size bowl combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. With the mixer on low speed gradually add the flour mixture to the chocolate mixture, add in the chocolate chips and mix till combined.
  5. Using a 2oz scooper drop dough on a cookie sheet keeping at least 2 inches apart.
  6. Place cookie sheets in the fridge for at least an hour.
  7. Preheat oven to 350 degrees, bake cookies for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Let Cool.
