Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup French fried onions
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Blanch the green beans in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Mix well.
- Stir in the blanched green beans and 1/2 cup of French fried onions into the soup mixture.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 2-quart baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the remaining French fried onions and shredded cheddar cheese on top.
- Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
