- 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ⅓ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup fresh key lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Lime slices for garnish
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish to form the crust.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Remove and let it cool.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust and spread evenly.
