Cornflake Wreath Christmas Cookies are a festive and fun treat that's perfect for the holiday season. These crunchy, buttery cookies are shaped like wreaths and decorated with green food coloring and red cinnamon candies, making them a delightful addition to your Christmas cookie platter.

Cornflake Wreath Christmas Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon green food coloring
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 4 cups cornflake cereal
  • 2.25 ounces red hot candy

Directions:

  1. Place the marshmallows and butter in a large bowl. Microwave on high for 2 minutes.
  2. Remove from microwave and stir. Microwave on high for two minutes or until completely melted.
  3. Add the green food coloring, vanilla, and almond extract; stir until the marshmallow mixture is smooth.
  4. Add the cornflakes to the bowl and gently stir to coat the cereal evenly with the marshmallow mixture.
  5. Shape the Christmas Cookie Wreaths around a round cutter on a baking sheet. Remove round cutter, and place red hot candy.
  6. Let cool.
