Ingredients:
- 1 package of refrigerated pie crusts
- 4 large Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the sliced apples, cranberries, granulated sugar, brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and almond extract. Mix well to coat the fruit evenly.
- Unroll one pie crust and place it in a pie dish. Spoon the apple-cranberry mixture into the crust.
