Ingredients:
- 4 boneless chicken thighs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup honey
- 6 slices of bacon
- 1 cup lettuce
- 2 tomatoes, sliced
- 4 slices of toasted bread
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Directions:
- Marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
- In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Remove chicken from buttermilk and coat each piece in the flour mixture.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the coated chicken thighs in the air fryer basket and spray with olive oil.
- Air fry for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
- Cook the bacon in a skillet until crispy.
- Assemble the sandwich by placing lettuce, tomato, fried chicken, and bacon between toasted bread.
- Drizzle honey over the top before closing the sandwich.
