Ingredients:
- 1 whole duck (about 5-6 lbs)
- 2 oranges, sliced
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp Chinese five-spice powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Rinse the duck inside and out, then pat dry with paper towels.
- Season the duck generously with salt, pepper, and Chinese five-spice powder, both inside and outside.
- Stuff the duck cavity with orange slices and minced garlic.
- Place the duck on a roasting rack in a roasting pan, breast side up.
- Roast the duck in the preheated oven for about 2 hours, or until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
