Deluxe Club Sandwich

Ingredients:

  • 6 slices of whole grain bread
  • 4 slices of cooked bacon
  • 1 grilled chicken breast, sliced
  • 4 slices of turkey breast
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Toast the whole grain bread slices until golden brown.
  2. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer the first slice of bread with lettuce, tomato, turkey, and cheese.
  4. Add the second slice of bread on top, mayonnaise side down.
  5. Layer the second slice with bacon, grilled chicken, and more lettuce.
  6. Top with the final slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  7. Cut the sandwich into quarters and secure with toothpicks if desired.
