Ingredients:
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers (red and green)
- 1/4 cup diced onion
- 1/4 cup diced cooked ham
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Directions:
- In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add the butter.
- Once the butter is melted, add the diced onions and bell peppers, sautéing until they are soft, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the diced ham to the skillet and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
- Pour the beaten eggs over the sautéed vegetables and ham, tilting the pan to distribute evenly.
- Cook for about 3-5 minutes, or until the edges start to set.
- Sprinkle the cheddar cheese on one half of the omelette.
- Carefully fold the omelette in half over the cheese and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Slide the omelette onto a plate and serve warm.
