A fusion of Middle Eastern and Mexican flavors, the Dubai Taco features spiced lamb, fresh vegetables, and a creamy yogurt-tahini sauce, all wrapped in warm tortillas.

Ingredients:

  • 8 small flour tortillas
  • 500g minced lamb
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1 cup diced cucumber
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • Olive oil for drizzling

Directions:

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  2. Add minced lamb to the skillet, cooking until browned. Stir in cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix Greek yogurt, tahini, and lemon juice. Set aside.
  4. Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave until pliable.
  5. Assemble each taco by placing a generous amount of the lamb mixture on a tortilla.
  6. Top with diced cucumber, tomatoes, and parsley.
  7. Drizzle with the yogurt-tahini sauce before folding the tortillas.
  8. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
