Ingredients:
- 500g ground beef
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp coriander
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Directions:
- In a large bowl, mix the ground beef, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs.
- In a tagine or a deep skillet, heat some olive oil over medium heat.
- Brown the meatballs on all sides, then remove them from the pan and set aside.
- In the same pan, add the diced tomatoes and beef broth. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
