Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon honey
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add the cold butter and use a pastry cutter or your fingers to mix until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in the buttermilk and honey until just combined.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead gently for 1-2 minutes until it comes together.
- Roll out the dough to about 1-inch thickness and cut out biscuits with a round cutter.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, close together but not touching.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
- Cool on a wire rack for a few minutes before serving.
