Garlic Butter Sirloin Steak with Baby Bell Mushrooms

Ingredients:

• 2 sirloin steaks
• 1 cup baby bell mushrooms, sliced
• 1 white onion, sliced
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 4 tbsp butter
• Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

1. Season the sirloin steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tbsp of butter over medium-high heat.
3. Add the seasoned steaks to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or adjust cooking time based on desired doneness. Remove steaks from the skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add the remaining butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant.
5. Add the sliced onions and baby bell mushrooms to the skillet, and cook until softened and slightly caramelized.
6. Return the sirloin steaks to the skillet, coating them with the garlic butter sauce and mushrooms.
7. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
8. Remove from heat and let the steaks rest for a few minutes before serving.
9. Slice the sirloin steaks and serve with the mushrooms and onions on top. Enjoy!
