Goat Cheese Stuffed Figs

Ingredients:

  • 8 fresh figs
  • 4 oz goat cheese
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut an X in the top of each fig, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  3. Gently open the figs and stuff each with goat cheese.
  4. Place the stuffed figs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle honey over the figs and sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is slightly melted.
  7. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh thyme leaves.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!
