Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup sliced black olives
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Knead until smooth, about 5 minutes.
  3. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll each into a pizza shape.
  6. Place the rolled dough on the grill for 2-3 minutes until grill marks appear.
  7. Flip the dough and spread pizza sauce on top. Add cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, and oregano.
  8. Close the grill lid and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the grill, slice, and serve hot.
