Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 packet active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Directions:
- In a small bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a large bowl, mix flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Knead until smooth, about 5 minutes.
- Cover the dough with a damp cloth and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Divide the dough into two equal portions and roll each into a pizza shape.
- Place the rolled dough on the grill for 2-3 minutes until grill marks appear.
- Flip the dough and spread pizza sauce on top. Add cheese, pepperoni, bell peppers, olives, and oregano.
- Close the grill lid and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the grill, slice, and serve hot.
