Forget the canned stuff! This Homemade Cranberry Sauce recipe will elevate your holiday table with its vibrant flavor and fresh, homemade goodness. Tart cranberries are simmered with a touch of sweetness and a hint of citrus, creating a sauce that's both tangy and refreshing. It's the perfect accompaniment to your Thanksgiving turkey, roasted meats, or even a dollop on your morning toast.

Serving Size: 3 cups
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup of dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of white sugar
- 3/4 cup of orange juice
- 1/4 cup of water
- A pinch of kosher salt
- 12 ounces fresh cranberries
Directions:
- Pick through the cranberries and discard any stems and then give them a quick rinse.
- In a saucepan over medium heat combine the sugars, orange juice, water and salt. Stir until the sugars dissolve.
- Add in the cranberries and place a lid on half way and simmer for 10 minutes or until the cranberries have burst and softened.
- Transfer to a large bowl to cool, then chill until serving.
- Store in a container with a tight-fitting lid for up to a month, maybe longer!
- For a smoother consistency, puree it in a food processor or blender!
