Instant Pot Oatmeal is a quick and easy way to make a delicious and healthy breakfast. It's made with rolled oats, milk or water, and your favorite toppings. You can cook it in the Instant Pot in just a few minutes, and it's perfect for busy mornings.

Instant Pot Oatmeal

Difficulty: EASY

Prep Time: 2 minutes

Cook Time: 8 minutes

Total Time: 10 minutes

Serving Size: 2 servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup steel cut oats (or regular oats)
  • 2 1/2 to 3 cups water, depending how how thick you like your oatmeal

Directions:

  1. Add steel cut oats and water to the Instant Pot. Place the lid on the Instant Pot and press the “Porridge” button (or Manual/Pressure Cook).
  2. Set to 6 minutes, and turn knob on the top of the lid to Sealing (not venting). The Instant Pot will turn on and start to build pressure.
  3. After about 10 minutes, the timer will automatically set to 6 minutes.
  4. After the 6 minutes are done, it will need to sit for an additional 6-8 minutes to release the pressure.
  5. When the pressure is released, remove the lid. Add the oatmeal to a bowl, and add toppings of choice. It will store in an airtight container in the fridge for 5-6 days.

Topping choices: strawberries, bananas, blueberries, apples, pears, chopped medjool dates, cinnamon, flax seed, coconut flakes, peanut butter, maple syrup or agave, all kinds of nuts, vegan chocolate chips (I love the Enjoy Life brand), etc.
