Serving Size: Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup mirin
  • 2 tablespoons miso paste
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Sesame seeds, for garnish
  • Sliced green onions, for garnish

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, mirin, miso paste, honey, garlic, and ginger to make the marinade.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish, and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the chicken is well coated. Marinate in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  4. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

  7. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving.
