Ingredients:

  • 1 lb ground chicken
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 package gyoza wrappers
  • 1/4 cup ponzu sauce
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, cabbage, garlic, ginger, green onions, soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  2. Place a spoonful of the chicken mixture onto a gyoza wrapper, wet the edges with water, and fold in half, pleating the edges to seal.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium heat. Add the gyoza in a single layer and cook until the bottoms are golden brown.
  4. Pour 1/4 cup water into the pan and cover immediately to steam the gyoza until the water evaporates.
  5. Uncover and let the gyoza cook for an additional minute until crispy.
  6. Serve the gyoza with ponzu sauce for dipping.
