Sausage and Pepper Skillet

Ingredients:

  • 4 sausages (Italian, bratwurst, or your choice)
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 yellow bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions:

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the sausages and cook until browned on all sides, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Remove sausages from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add onion, bell peppers, and garlic. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in the diced tomatoes, oregano, salt, and pepper. Bring to a simmer.
  6. Slice the sausages and add them back to the skillet. Cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
