Savory Crab Cakes with Lemon Aioli

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lump crabmeat
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, gently combine crabmeat, breadcrumbs, mayonnaise, egg, parsley, Dijon mustard, Old Bay seasoning, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Form the mixture into small patties and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  4. Fry the crab cakes until golden brown on both sides, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  5. Serve hot with lemon aioli on the side.
