Ingredients:
- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 pound sausage meat
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 egg (beaten for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine sausage meat, chopped onions, breadcrumbs, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into rectangles.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture on one end of each rectangle.
- Roll the pastry over the filling to create a log and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
