Seared Bluefin Tuna with Citrus Glaze

Ingredients:

• 2 Bluefin tuna steaks (6 oz each)
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
• 2 tbsp honey
• 1 tbsp rice vinegar
• 1 tsp grated ginger
• 1 clove garlic, minced
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Sesame seeds for garnish
• Green onions for garnish

Directions:

1. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, ginger, and garlic to make the glaze.
2. Season the tuna steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over high heat.
4. Sear the tuna steaks for 1-2 minutes on each side for rare doneness, or longer if desired.
5. Pour the glaze over the tuna steaks in the skillet and cook for another minute, allowing the glaze to thicken.
6. Remove the tuna steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a minute.
7. Slice the tuna steaks, garnish with sesame seeds and chopped green onions, and serve hot.
