Ingredients:
- 3 pounds beef chuck roast
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 sandwich rolls
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Directions:
- Season the beef roast with salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika.
- Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add the seasoned beef roast on top of the onions and garlic.
- Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the roast.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the beef is tender.
- Remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
- Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker and stir to combine with the gravy.
- Serve the beef on sandwich rolls, topped with cheese if desired.
