Ingredients:

  • 3 pounds beef chuck roast
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 sandwich rolls
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Directions:

  1. Season the beef roast with salt, pepper, thyme, and paprika.
  2. Place the sliced onion and minced garlic at the bottom of the slow cooker.
  3. Add the seasoned beef roast on top of the onions and garlic.
  4. Pour the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce over the roast.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the beef is tender.
  6. Remove the beef from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
  7. Return the shredded beef to the slow cooker and stir to combine with the gravy.
  8. Serve the beef on sandwich rolls, topped with cheese if desired.
