Ingredients:

  • 4 lbs beef brisket
  • 2 tablespoons kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

Directions:

  1. Rub the brisket with kosher salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder. Let it sit at room temperature for 1 hour.
  2. Prepare a smoker or grill for indirect cooking at 225°F (107°C).
  3. Place the brisket on the grill or in the smoker, fat side up, and cook for about 6 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F (90°C).
  4. In a separate bowl, mix beef broth, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Every hour, baste the brisket with the broth mixture to keep it moist.
  6. Once cooked, remove the brisket from the heat and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
