Ingredients:

  • 4 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the spice mixture all over the chicken thighs.
  4. Place the seasoned chicken thighs on the grill and cook for 5 minutes per side to get grill marks.
  5. Lower the heat to low, baste the chicken thighs with BBQ sauce, and cover the grill.
  6. Slow roast the chicken for 30-40 minutes, basting with more BBQ sauce every 10 minutes.
  7. Ensure the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) before removing from the grill.
  8. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before serving.
