Smoky Maple Grilled Pork Shoulder

Ingredients:

  • 4 lbs pork shoulder, bone-in
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 cup olive oil

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, maple syrup, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, black pepper, and olive oil to make the marinade.
  2. Place the pork shoulder in a large resealable bag and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium heat. Remove the pork shoulder from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
  4. Grill the pork shoulder over indirect heat, turning occasionally, for about 3-4 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 195°F.
