Sourdough Garlic Rosemary Bread

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sourdough starter
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup warm water

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl, combine sourdough starter, bread flour, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Add minced garlic, chopped rosemary, and warm water to the mixture. Knead until a smooth dough forms.
  3. Cover the bowl with a damp cloth and let the dough rise for 1 hour.
  4. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Shape the dough into a round loaf and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Score the top of the loaf with a sharp knife.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the bread is golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
  8. Allow the bread to cool before slicing and serving.
