Ingredients:
- 4 green tomatoes, sliced
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- Vegetable oil for frying
Directions:
- In a shallow dish, mix cornmeal, flour, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In another dish, whisk together eggs and milk.
- Dip tomato slices in the egg mixture, then coat with the cornmeal mixture.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the coated tomato slices until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
