Ingredients:
- 8 oz dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup champagne
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1 cup white chocolate, melted
- Edible gold dust (for garnish)
Directions:
- In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until just simmering.
- Remove from heat and pour over the chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl. Let it sit for 1 minute.
- Add butter, champagne, and sea salt to the bowl. Stir until smooth and well combined.
- Refrigerate the mixture for 2 hours to set.
- Once chilled, use a spoon to scoop out small portions and roll into balls. Place on a lined baking sheet and freeze for 30 minutes.
- Dip the truffles into melted white chocolate and place back on the baking sheet.
