These Steamed Shrimp Dumplings are a classic dim sum favorite, featuring a flavorful shrimp filling encased in a delicate wrapper. Perfect for a light and tasty snack or as part of a dim sum feast.

Ingredients:
- 250g shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/4 cup water chestnuts, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
- 1 package round dumpling wrappers
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Directions:
- In a food processor, pulse shrimp until finely chopped.
- Transfer chopped shrimp to a bowl and mix in water chestnuts, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, sugar, and white pepper.
- Place a spoonful of the shrimp mixture into the center of a dumpling wrapper.
- Fold and pleat the edges of the wrapper to seal the dumpling.
- Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
- Steam the dumplings in a bamboo steamer lined with parchment paper for about 8-10 minutes.
- Serve hot garnished with chopped green onions.
