Strawberry Cream Cheese Puffs

Serving Size: 12 puffs

For The Puffs

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup flour
  • 4 eggs

For The Filling

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup confectioner’s sugar
  • 1/3 cup chopped strawberries

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. In a large pot melt butter, salt and water over medium high heat till boiling.
  3. Stir in flour all at once, till a soft ball forms.
  4. Remove from heat, and let cool for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Stir in eggs one at a time. Mix together till smooth and shiny.
  6. Drop a heaping tablespoon on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 30 min or till golden brown. Gently poke a hole on the top of the puffs to released steam. Let cool while you make the filling.
  8. In a medium sized bowl using a hand mixer, whip together the whipping cream, cream cheese and strawberries on high speed for about 3 minutes or until light and fluffy looking. Slowly add in confectioner’s sugar and mix on low speed for 1 min.
  9. Gently cut off tops of puffs and fill with strawberry cream cheese mixture.
  10. Dust with confectioner’s sugar if desired
