Delicate and light sweet crepes filled with fresh fruits and drizzled with syrup, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

Sweet Crepes

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • Pinch of salt
  • Fresh fruits (strawberries, bananas, etc.) for filling
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Maple syrup or chocolate sauce for serving

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, whisking until smooth.
  4. Let the batter rest for 15 minutes.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it with butter.
  6. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the skillet, swirling to coat the bottom evenly.
  7. Cook for about 1-2 minutes until the edges begin to lift and the bottom is lightly golden.
  8. Flip the crepe and cook for another 1 minute on the other side.
  9. Repeat with the remaining batter, stacking the crepes on a plate.
  10. Fill each crepe with fresh fruits, fold, and dust with powdered sugar.
  11. Serve warm with maple syrup or chocolate sauce.
