Three Cheese Diner-Style Mac and Cheese

Ingredients:

• 2 cups elbow macaroni
• 4 cups milk
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter
• 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
• 1/2 cup Gruyere cheese, shredded
• 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
• Salt and pepper to taste
• 1/4 teaspoon paprika
• 1/4 cup breadcrumbs

Directions:

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
2. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and whisk constantly for about 2 minutes to make a roux.
4. Gradually pour in the milk while whisking continuously until the mixture thickens.
5. Add the cheddar, Gruyere, and mozzarella cheeses, stirring until melted and smooth.
6. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
7. Combine the cooked macaroni with the cheese sauce and mix well. Transfer to the prepared baking dish.
8. Sprinkle breadcrumbs over the top of the mac and cheese.
9. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and bubbly.
