Ingredients:
- 4 cups dashi broth
- 3 tablespoons miso paste
- 1/2 cup silken tofu, cubed
- 1/4 cup green onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup wakame seaweed, rehydrated
- 1 small carrot, julienned
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
Directions:
- In a pot, bring the dashi broth to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Add the soy sauce and sesame oil, stirring to combine.
- In a small bowl, dissolve the miso paste in a ladleful of hot broth, then return it to the pot.
- Add the cubed tofu, wakame, and julienned carrot to the pot.
- Simmer for an additional 5 minutes to heat through.
- Remove from heat and stir in the sliced green onions just before serving.
