Tuna Toasts With Spice-Dusted Tomatoes

Ingredients:

  • 1 can tuna, drained
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 4 slices of crusty bread
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the drained tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, and lemon juice until well combined.
  3. Brush the slices of bread with olive oil and place them in the air fryer basket.
  4. Air fry the bread for about 5 minutes or until golden and crispy.
  5. In another bowl, combine the cherry tomatoes with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  6. Spread the spiced tomatoes on a baking sheet and air fry for 8 minutes until they are blistered.
  7. Remove the crispy bread from the air fryer and top each slice with the tuna mixture.
  8. Add the spice-dusted tomatoes on top of the tuna to finish.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
