Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless chicken breasts, cubed
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp turmeric
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato puree
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp garam masala
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish
Directions:
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, cayenne, and salt.
- Add chicken cubes to marinade, coat well, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Place marinated chicken in the air fryer and cook for 15 minutes, turning halfway through.
- While chicken cooks, heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Sauté onions until translucent, add garlic and ginger, cook for another 2 minutes.
- Stir in tomato puree, simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and garam masala, mix well, and cook for another 5 minutes.
- Combine cooked chicken with the sauce, simmer for 5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
