Ingredients:

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups pecans, chopped
  • 1 unbaked pie crust

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, eggs, bourbon, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Stir in the chopped pecans until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
