Ingredients:
- 2 pounds ground beef
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon allspice
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 package spaghetti
- Cheddar cheese, shredded (for serving)
- Kidney beans, rinsed (for serving)
- Chopped onions (for garnish)
- Hot sauce (optional)
Directions:
- In a large pot, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onions and minced garlic to the pot, cooking until onions are translucent.
- Stir in the beef broth, tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, paprika, cinnamon, allspice, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar.
- Season with salt and pepper. Bring to a simmer and reduce heat to low. Let it cook uncovered for at least 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- While the chili simmers, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- To serve, place a portion of spaghetti on a plate, top with Cincinnati chili, and garnish with shredded cheddar cheese, kidney beans, chopped onions, and hot sauce if desired.
