Citrus Glazed Orange Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 2 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds and green onions for garnish

Directions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together orange juice, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  2. Marinate the chicken in half of the orange sauce for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry.
  4. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade and cook until browned and cooked through.
  5. Pour in the remaining orange sauce and cornstarch slurry. Stir well until the sauce thickens.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve the orange chicken over steamed rice, garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
