    Ingredients:

    • 1 cup all-purpose flour
    • 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
    • 1 cup pumpkin puree
    • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
    • 1/2 cup brown sugar
    • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
    • 2 large eggs
    • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
    • 1 teaspoon baking soda
    • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
    • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
    • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
    • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar

    Directions:

    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
    2. In a large bowl, mix together pumpkin puree, melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
    3. In another bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt.
    4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
    5. In a separate bowl, beat cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
    6. Pour half of the pumpkin batter into the prepared loaf pan.
