Ingredients:
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp rice vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped peanuts
Directions:
- In a bowl, coat the chicken pieces with cornstarch.
- Dip the coated chicken in beaten eggs.
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the chicken until crispy and golden brown. Set aside.
- In another pan, combine soy sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook until the sauce thickens.
- Add the fried chicken to the sauce and toss to coat evenly.
