Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (packed, light or dark)
- 1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 3 tablespoons bourbon
- 1 pound cocktail franks (or mini smoked sausages)
Directions:
- In the slow cooker, combine the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, barbecue sauce, and bourbon. Stir to blend thoroughly.
- Add the cocktail franks or mini smoked sausages to the sauce and stir to coat.
- Cover the pot and cook on high for 1 hour; remove the lid and cook on low for 1 hour longer.
- Keep the setting on low or switch it to warm and serve the cocktail franks hot from the slow cooker.
