Total Time: 50 minutes

Serving Size: Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1 cup finely chopped green onions
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 package wanton wrappers
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground pork, green onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Place a wanton wrapper on a clean surface. Add a teaspoon of the pork mixture in the center.
  3. Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it over to create a triangle, and press to seal. Fold the two corners of the triangle towards the center to form a wanton shape.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat. Fry the wantons in batches until golden brown and cooked through, about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Remove the wantons and drain on paper towels. Serve hot with dipping sauce.
